Getting ready for Spring

I like to start writing as if we’re already in the middle of a conversation…

This Spring I’ll be having a change of pace. I love having a long list of things to do, things to try & a Pinterest board full to bursting with inspiration & this year those lists will have my full attention. It’s time to get back to my first love, fabric & experimenting & true slow slow fashion. The kind of sewing that always leads on to the next idea & endless samples of stitches.

I’ve been busy sorting through boxes of lovely fabrics I’ve been saving for my ReLayers. Preloved & end of line fabrics layered & stitched into new fabrics & made into one of a kind kimono style layers, bags, purses & quilts. I also have a collection of beautiful silk & preloved clothes to be Reimagined. 

ReLayers will be an ever evolving collection of all the things I love the most about sewing.
